Tara Gentile on The Fulfilling Life

May 29, 2013 1 Comment

Whenever I’m in need of guidance and inspiration for how to improve my business, the first person I turn to is Tara Gentile. Tara is incredibly bright, but more than that the passion she has for her work is unmistakable.

You might wonder what makes a business strategist a candidate to be a part of The Fulfilling Life interviews. Well, that is what really sets Tara apart. She sees business, and what she calls the New Economy, as a catalyst for living a meaningful, and fulfilling, life. Plus, Tara doesn’t reserve a quest for fulfillment to her work — she infuses it into all aspects of her life.

Enjoy getting to know Tara as together we explore what it means to live a fulfilling life.

Tara made it very clear that living a fulfilling life is a choice, and a choice that each and every one of us have. She is not a woman to passively accept what life brings her way. She pushes boundaries, and encourages others to do so too.

Living a fulfilling life is really about living life on my own personal edge. ~ Tara Gentile

Doesn’t it feel great when you know that you are pushing up against your own personal edge? When you are living life to your fullest potential?

Sure, it’s hard to do that much of the time. But remembering what Tara said about leaning into the corners of life and knowing that you are always in choice helps.

My favorite quote from this interview, and one that will go on my list of all time favorites is the following:

We tend to get really stuck in a list of shoulds when there’s a whole world of coulds out there. ~ Tara Gentile

  1. I love how personal and authentic these conversations are. I feel like I get to eavesdrop on a zesty coffee klatch! I love everything you are both saying. But just as much, I love seeing your joyful faces. 🙂
