CFC Day 2 – Review

Now this is more like it! Today was much better than yesterday. I’m feeling good, no headache, and my energy is picking up a bit too.

Here’s the breakdown of what I ate today:

Breakfast:

  • Steel cut oats with cinnamon and maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups coffee with almond milk
Lunch:
  • Roasted sweet potatoes with garam masala and sea salt
  • Rice
Dinner:
  • 2 Rice cakes with avocado and portobello mushrooms
  • Bowl curried cauliflower soup (which came from a recipe in the next issue of Sparrow Magazine. It is super delicious!)
Dessert:
  • Detox Peach Tea
I didn’t feel deprived today at all. And I don’t feel hungry now, like I usually do. Snacking after the kids are in bed is a bad habit I’d love to kick. Eating clean is helping me to be more in touch with how hungry I really am, and has me eating less without feeling hungry. I know that some of you are starting today or later this week. So, if you have a rough first day, know that it gets better!
